A Little Honest Advice
Before we dive in, just note that the standard of hotel rooms and services might be a little lower than what you're used to, as accommodations primarily cater to business travellers and visiting officials rather than tourists. With that, it's not uncommon to find the usual services or appliances missing, a trail of ants in the bathroom, or accommodation that hasn't seen a refurb in a few years.
With an open mind and setting your expectations accordingly, you're sure to find the alternative charms these authentic stays have to offer.
